Ministries

Children and Families

We exist to help children to know Jesus, by asking Him into their lives as Savior, leader and friend; to follow Jesus, learning how to grow in their faith as part of God’s family; and to share Jesus, through word and example.

We exist to help parents by training and encouraging them to fulfill their God given responsibilities to nurture their children spiritually and to supplement their efforts through Christian formation classes, worship opportunities and other activities for children and families.

* All our children’s ministry workers are carefully screened including a required background check.

Community Groups

Community Groups are Newport’s primary place where you can gather to be known and live like Jesus in and among our community. These small groups of 6-12 meet in homes or offices throughout the week to incorporate Scripture, offer mutual support, encouragement and discipleship to one another while finding unique ways to reach out to others in our community.

For more information on Community Groups, email the leader on the flyer which you can find here.

Women’s Ministries

The purpose of Women Ministries is to:

Provide women with opportunities to grow in the knowledge and love of the Lord through times of fellowship and community. Our ministry has a three-fold approach. We seek to offer opportunities that allow women to:

RESPOND: Acknowledge Jesus as Lord.

REFINE: On-going development through varied experiences
in community with each other.

REACH: Extend the love of Jesus to those in our church
and community.

Youth

Our youth ministry exists to help teens and young adults experience life to the full. We welcome teens and young adults into a dynamic Christian community where they can connect – with God, with one another and with opportunities to make a difference in our changing world.

Our Wednesday Night Live Community Groups, Sunday morning Route 66, Quest and Journey classes, Confirmation class, and numerous special events all enjoy a high level of enthusiasm and great expectation.
